HOW IT WORKS
Studio by the Bay workshops are always relaxed and slow, intended to create a calm environment where you can work at your own pace.
Pay for a casual session for one, two or three hours.
Come whenever your heart desires & make some time for you. These sessions are perfect for beginners & beyond.
No experience is required.
Work will be available for collection within 3-4 weeks of your session.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Pottery tools and Studio Space.
Guided one on one/ small group tutoring
Morning tea. Coffee/ Tea.
CLAY
Clay is $10 a kilo or you’re welcome to BYO your own stoneware clay. Payment for your clay can be done on the day.
FIRING & GLAZING FEE
Simone will glaze all work in her signature white satin glaze. A small firing/ glazing fee is required after all work is fired.

I have little ones. Can they come along?

Do I have to come each week or can I skip a week here and there or just come once?
Come anytime that suits you. Once. Twice. Every 2nd Monday!
Please note due to the nature of clay, if you have an unfinished piece, the work will gradually dry over a week or so.
It’s best to try and complete your piece in the session. You are also welcome to take your unfinished piece home to complete and bring back when ready to fire.
Do you offer glazing sessions?
Yes! Such a fun part of the process. You can glaze your pieces when work has been bisque fired. ( generally 2-3 weeks after you’ve created your work.)
Glazing sessions can be booked with Simone either on a Monday Studio Open Session, or on a Tues/Thurs that suits you. This comes at an added cost. Email for more info.
